FAQ

What can I do with KNS?

With KNS, you can:

  • Send Assets: Generate easily shareable links or send assets directly to a KNS phone number.

  • Receive Assets: Accept assets from others by following a link or sharing your KNS phone number.

  • Connect to Apps: Link your Karrier One wallet with Sui-based applications to use your assets (e.g., play games, participate in DeFi).

  • Manage Assets: Store and view your assets anytime from dashboard.karrier.one.

Note: As KNS evolves from its closed beta phase to a full-fledged launch, users can anticipate a suite of advanced features designed to enhance functionality and security.

Why should I claim a phone number?

Claiming your unique KNS phone number provides a personalized identifier, making it easier for you and others to remember and interact with your wallet. Instead of sharing a long, complex wallet address (e.g., 0xb1234...), you can simply share your phone number. It's convenient, memorable, and secure!

How does KNS work?

KNS creates wallets using zkLogin, an innovative feature from the Sui blockchain that allows apps to create wallets using OAuth2 credentials. KNS wallets are self-custodial, meaning only you control your assets.

  • Sending Assets: Generate a link containing the assets you want to share.

  • Receiving Assets: Recipients click the link to set up a wallet and claim the assets, depositing them into their Karrier One wallets.

  • Link Management: Senders can view all created links and see if they've been claimed. You can regenerate or reclaim unclaimed links if necessary.

Important: Senders are responsible for ensuring links are shared only with intended recipients. Anyone with access to the link can claim the assets.

Is my wallet secure?

Your Karrier One wallet is controlled by the account you used to log in (e.g., your phone number, email, or social login). To ensure security:

  • Account Access: If you lose access to your login account, you won't be able to access your wallet.

  • Personal Accounts: Do not use shared accounts to create your Karrier One wallet.

  • Two-Factor Authentication: Enable two-factor authentication with your login provider for added security.

  • Self-Custody: KNS wallets are self-custodied; you alone manage and own your assets.

I have a Karrier One account. How do I send assets to my friends?

  1. Ensure Assets are in Your Wallet:

    • Assets must be stored in your KNS wallet.

    • You can receive assets by sharing your KNS phone number or by claiming assets via a link from someone else.

  2. Send Assets via Link:

    • Access Send Function: In your wallet, click Send Assets.

    • Select Assets: Choose the assets you wish to send (tokens, coins, or NFTs).

    • Create Link: Click Create Link to generate a shareable link.

    • Share the Link: You'll receive a QR code and a Copy Link option. Share this with your intended recipient.

  3. Direct Transfer to KNS Phone Number:

    • Alternatively, you can send assets directly to a friend's KNS phone number.

Note: Once assets are sent via a link, they are no longer available in your wallet unless the link is unclaimed and reclaimed.

My friend has lost their link. Can I resend it?

  • Check Link Status: In your transaction history, view all links you've created.

  • Unclaimed Links: For any unclaimed links, you have the option to:

    • Regenerate Link: Create a new link to share.

    • Reclaim Assets: Return the assets to your wallet.

I made a mistake. Can I get my assets back?

  • Unclaimed Links: If the link hasn't been claimed:

    • Reclaim Assets: Go to your transaction history and reclaim the assets from the unclaimed link.

  • Claimed Links: If the link has already been claimed:

    • Assets Cannot Be Recovered: Once claimed, assets are transferred to the recipient's wallet. You will need to contact the recipient directly.
